Taxman is a tool I developed to simplify invoice management for professionals under the flat-rate tax regime. Some of its features, in no particular order, are:
- Manual invoice creation;
- Automatic import from the XML of electronic invoices;
- Tagging of individual invoices for statistical purposes;
- Automatic tax calculation for each invoice and for the billing period;
- Generation of a CSV file for the accountant;
- Client statistics (average payment time, average delay, percentage of revenue);
- Statistics on revenue trends year by year;
- Statistics on the tags entered;
- Distinction between paid jobs, invoiced jobs, jobs in progress, and potential jobs, with revenue and tax calculation for all four groups;
- Automatic handling of invoices paid in a year other than the one they were issued in;
- Automatic, optional handling of the INPS surcharge;
- Management of tax rates for each year;
- Attachment management;
- Bulk import of invoices from XML files;
- Import/Export of data as JSON files;
- A calculator to estimate taxes based on revenue and rates;
The web application is built with React and TypeScript, and it does not use a backend but stores everything in Local Storage, allowing you to download the database as a JSON file and import it again. There is also a draft of a Cloud version that stores the same JSON in encrypted form in a centralized database, but I have not published it yet.
